Who We Are

At Hermosa Community Church, we exist to honor Christ by serving people, equipping leaders, and fulfilling the Great Commission. We are a family united by faith, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and committed to seeing lives transformed. As a Spirit-led family of believers, we are passionate about bringing hope to every heart.

Our Values

Faith

We believe the Bible is God’s roadmap for life and Jesus is central to everything. As a result, we help people encounter God, grow in faith, and live out Spirit-empowered lives.

Family

We believe the church is a family where everyone belongs. Because of this, we welcome all people, celebrate our diversity, and maintain unity through relationships.

Service

We believe it’s a privilege to serve God by serving others. Therefore, we focus on advancing God’s kingdom through discipleship and community work.

Our Beliefs

We believe in one God, who exists in three persons—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—and is the creator of all things. (Ex. 3:14; Deut. 6:4; Matt. 28:19; 1 John 5:7; Rev. 1:8)

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose from the dead on the third day. (Matt. 1:22-23; John 10:30; 1 Tim. 3:16; 1 John 2:12; 4:15)

We believe that the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God, and is the final authority in matters of faith and practice. (2 Tim. 3:16-17; John 5:39; 1 Pet. 1:20-21)

We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and that all who believe in Him are born again and become children of God (John 3:16; Rom. 10:9, 10; 2 Cor. 5:10,19)

We believe in the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit, who empowers believers to live a holy life and to witness to the world about Jesus Christ. As a person of the Divine Trinity, He teaches, guides, and reveals the depths of the Word of God to every believer. (Isaiah 11:2; Rom. 8:2; 1 Cor 12; Eph 4; John 14:16-17, 26; John 16:7-8)

Job & Danette Ramos

Rev. Job and Danette Ramos are committed to advancing God’s kingdom through authentic leadership and a deep devotion to making disciples who are rooted in faith and engaged in their community. Since 2011, they have served as the lead pastors of Hermosa Community Church, where they focus on equipping leaders and building a vibrant family of believers through biblical truth and prophetic teaching. Driven by a passion for service, they believe in the power of the local church to bring hope and strategy to the community they love.

KIDS

Experience Christ from a Young Age

At HCC Kids we help the next generation experience Christ. Each week, we strive to make learning about God fun in an age-appropriate environment.

We exist to help middle and high school students build faith, and walk with Jesus.

Our small groups offer spaces where adults can study God’s Word and live out their faith together. Because life is better together.
